Slopes to Summit 'Wattle Day'
The Slopes to Summit priority area of the Great Eastern Ranges Initiative celebrated Wattle Day – 1 September 2009 – with a community event held near Albury. Local conservation organisations and volunteers came together to plant trees near the access point for a new wildlife bridge allowing Squirrel Gliders to safely cross the Hume Highway.
