Slopes to Summit Partnership Facilitator

Sam NiedraI come from a background working on community projects so I enjoy working with all the different organisations and groups that come together under the banner of the Slopes to Summit project.

I have a Bachelor of Applied Science (Natural Resource Management) and ten years experience working in the Natural Resource Management industry in three regions of Victoria and now southern NSW.

My previous experience includes working with Moreland City Council as their NRM Officer responsible for managing bushland maintenance and revegetation contracts, and developing partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders including community groups, management committees, and government agencies. I also worked for five years with Greening Australia (Victoria), including two years working with landholders in Gippsland on remnant protection and revegetation projects. I’ve got a broad range of experience in community facilitation, having run direct seeding workshops, organised community planting events, and delivered training in weed management.

I’m part of the small Nature Conservation Trust team working out of Charles Sturt University at Thurgoona.
