Landmark Report Released on Connectivity Conservation and the Great Eastern Ranges
A landmark “proof of concept” report that reviews the scientific basis for establishing a conservation corridor along the Great Eastern Ranges from the Australian Alps to Atherton and beyond, has been released this week.

Making a 'green road'
Landowners are being asked to take part in a new project to establish 'green roads' on their properties with a view to creating one of the largest wildlife corridors in Australia.
Regional Farmers Provide Inspiration

Winners of the Great Eastern Ranges Photo Competition Announced
Australian Traveller magazine, together with the Great Eastern Ranges Initiative, has announced the winners of the Great Eastern Ranges photo competition which ran from November 2009 to March 2010. The winners share $22,000 worth of prizes.

New Private Reserve Managers in the Border Ranges
The growing band of Nature Conservation Trust (NCT) Private Reserve Managers has been joined by 7 landholders in the Border Ranges region of northeast New South Wales, who have recently signed conservation agreements with the NCT.

Great Eastern Ranges Photo Competition
Entries for the 'My Great Eastern Ranges' Photo Competition have now closed. Winning images will be published in Australian Traveller magazine and on the Great Eastern Ranges website, and will be in an exhibition travelling throughout the Great Eastern Ranges.
Native Seeds Ripe For the Picking
On 13 December over 30 volunteers under the guidance of Greening Australia's Graham Fifield participated in a Sunday morning collection of ripe native seed from Bush Heritage Australia's ecologically diverse Scottsdale Reserve.
