New Conservation Project Launch and Open Day

The public will get a chance to visit one of the most interesting farms in the Holbrook district when a new regional conservation partnership, Slopes to Summit, is launched on Sunday 23 May 2010 in an action-packed Open Day at 'Annandayle South', Annandale Road, off the Hume Highway at Woomargama.
Kicking off at 9.30 am, the Slopes to Summit Open Day will have everything from helicopter joy rides to native cuisine along with a varied program of tours and talks of interest to local landholders and the general public.
The day includes a guided tour of 'Annandayle South', walks through Woomargama National Park lead by 'Ranger Dave', and talks on a range of topics including pest management, native grasses, biodiversity in the backyard, and healthy soils.
