Natural Highlights
Jervis Bay Marine Park
Jervis Bay offers beaches, rocky platforms and reefs, extensive seagrass beds, estuaries and deep-water cliffs with caves. Dolphins are a regular sight in the crystal-clear waters.
Booderee National Park
Booderee is an Aboriginal word from the Dhurga language meaning 'bay of plenty' or 'plenty of fish'. Booderee offers pristine white beaches and a wide range of recreational activities including trail walking, surfing, fishing, camping, boating, sailing, snorkelling and diving.
Morton National Park
Straddling the Great Dividing Range, Morton National Park’s sandstone cliffs, plateaus and peaks are a bushwalker's delight. A popular attraction is the Pigeon House mountain walk – a 720 m peak including ladders to climb as you approach the summit. The recently upgraded Tianjara lookout, on the Nowra-Braidwood road, provides views of Tianjara Falls. To the north, Fitzroy Falls and Belmore Falls plunge off the plateau into rainforest gullies. On the western side at Tallong there are wonderful views of the Shoalhaven Gorge from Badgerys and Longpoint lookouts.
Seven Mile Beach National Parks
The sweep of Seven Mile Beach is rimmed with sand dunes and a variety of coastal sand forests, some of which are listed as endangered ecological communities.
Conjola National Park
This coastal park features extensive forests beside beautiful lakes and estuaries, and large areas of woodland and heath that become a massof wildflowers in spring. The park is great for walking, birdwatching, swimming, fishing and canoeing.

- The beaches of Jervis Bay – from the whitest sand in the world on Hyams Beach to the beautiful Murrays Beach in Booderee National Park, there are pleanty of options to find your piece of beach paradise.
- White Sands Walk – a short easy walk combining bushland with lovely views of Jervis Bay. Begin at the Greenfields Beach picnic area at Vincentia and walk to Hyams Beach, returning the same way.
- The absolutely stunning landscapes surrounding the historic towns of Kangaroo Valley. Take a walk or canoe down the Kangaroo Valley River, and wine and dine on the local produce.
- Watching Southern Right and Humpback whales during the northern and southern migrations, from many headlands along the Shoalhaven coastline.
