Border Ranges

Photo: Iain StychEnviTE Environment is a not-for-profit organisation with over fifteen years experience providing professional environmental services on the NSW north coast between Kempsey and the Queensland border.

Technical staff have qualifications and experience in natural resource management, environmental science and coastal management. Qualified bush regenerators have strong skills and knowledge of ecology, weed and native plant identification and chemical, biological and manual weed control techniques. Vegetation restoration works are undertaken to standards set by the Australian Association of Bush Regenerators.

EnviTE is a Registered Training Organisation delivering Conservation and Land Management training. EnviTE also provides employment services.

What we do

This work is funded through the Northern Rivers Catchment Management Authority, NSW Environmental Trust, Australian Government Caring for our Country program, state agencies, local government, the Landcare network, private firms / commercial interests and landowners to deliver strategic local and regional environmental projects and outcomes.

As a Registered Training Organisation EnviTE reaches a broad range of participants, including National Parks and Wildlife staff, Aboriginal groups, unemployed people, Landcare groups and private landholders.

EnviTE works with the community to deliver best practice training and professional services in environmental restoration.

What we have achieved

Photo: Maree ThompsonOver 850 environmental restoration projects have been successfully implemented throughout the north coast and Border Ranges region working with a multitude of partners over the past 15 years.

EnviTE Environment is currently implementing seven Caring for our Country projects, 11 NSW Environmental Trust projects, ten Northern Rivers Catchment Management Authority projects and one Natural Resources Advisory Council project and over 40 fee for service projects.
